We invite you to contact your insurance company to find out the terms and conditions of coverage for eligible dental care under your policy, and if the dental care is covered by your insurance, we encourage you to have your policy information on hand when you come to the clinic. Whenever possible, we deal directly with your insurance company online in order to obtain an immediate response on your coverage and thus allow you, if necessary, to pay only the non-covered portion of the treatment you received. But if the dental treatment you require is not covered, or only partly covered by your insurance, we’re pleased to be able to offer you our Patient Financing – exclusively available only at participating dental clinics within our network.

These services include: Preventive Services: Regular check-ups, cleanings, fluoride treatments, and sealants to prevent oral health issues. Diagnostic Services: Comprehensive examinations and X-rays to diagnose potential dental problems. Restorative Services: Fillings, crowns, and other treatments to restore damaged teeth. Endodontic Services: Root canal treatments to address issues within the tooth. Prosthodontic Services: Dentures and partial dentures to replace missing teeth. Periodontal Services: Deep scaling and other treatments for gum health. Oral Surgery Services: Extractions and other surgical procedures as needed.

Seniors Aged 65 and Above:

Eligibility: Canadian residents aged 65 and older. Application Start Date: Applications opened in December 2023.

Adults with a Valid Disability Tax Credit Certificate:

Eligibility: Adults with a valid Disability Tax Credit certificate. Application Start Date: Applications started on June 27, 2024.

Children Under the Age of 18:

Eligibility: Canadian residents under the age of 18. Application Start Date: Applications started on June 27, 2024.

All Remaining Eligible Canadian Residents:

Eligibility: Applications will open in May 2025, with coverage starting as early as June 1, 2025. Application Start Date: May 1, 2025: Ages 55 to 64 May 15, 2025: Ages 18 to 34 May 29, 2025: Ages 35 to 54.

Applications for the CDCP open in phases. Ensure you apply during the appropriate phase for your eligibility group: Seniors aged 65 and above: Applications opened in December 2023. After You Apply

After submitting your application: Enrollment Confirmation: You will receive a confirmation of your enrollment from Sun Life, the administrator of the CDCP. Welcome Package: Within three months, Sun Life will send you a welcome package that includes your member card and coverage start date.
